Starting signal for the ‘Brandenburg Future Prize’ 2026
The competition for the Brandenburg Future Award 2026 has officially opened: companies from across the state can now apply for the prestigious award. For the 22nd time, the prize will recognise outstanding entrepreneurial achievements. Applications are open until 31 May 2026 via the website: www.zukunftspreis-brandenburg.de.
The award is considered the most important business prize available to predominantly small and medium-sized enterprises located between the rivers Oder, Neisse, Spree, Havel and Elbe. The organisers are looking for companies that stand out through exceptional performance – for example through innovative products and processes, modern and responsible corporate management, above-average commitment to vocational training or sustainable business practices. Successful international business activities, dynamic growth in turnover or employment, as well as exemplary business succession solutions, are also taken into account.
Strong business “Made in Brandenburg”
Since the award’s premiere, a total of 192 companies have been honoured as winners. They represent innovation, entrepreneurial courage and sustainable success – standing for strong business performance “Made in Brandenburg”.
The award ceremony will take place on 20 November 2026 at the Holiday Inn Berlin Airport Conference Centre in Schönefeld. In addition to the title, the winners will receive an image film, media visibility, a commemorative stele, a certificate and the right to promote themselves using the label “Winner of the Brandenburg Future Award”.

Supporters and partners of Brandenburg’s most important business award include the six chambers of commerce and crafts – the IHKs and HWKs – as well as well-known institutions and companies such as the Investment Bank of the State of Brandenburg (ILB), Deutsche Bank, Bürgschaftsbank Brandenburg, EWE AG, SIGNAL IDUNA, IKK Brandenburg and Berlin, and the employment agencies in Cottbus, Eberswalde, Frankfurt (Oder), Potsdam and Neuruppin.
